The Office of Real Estate is responsible for the University's overall real estate strategy, including acquisition and disposition of real estate assets, enterprise-wide leasing strategies, and management of University owned real estate property. UM's Office of Real Estate manages an extensive portfolio of commercial office, clinical, warehouse, and residential leases.

Our Office of Real Estate collaborates with UM General Counsel, UM Risk Management, UM Facilities & Operations, UM Design and Construction, and UM Government and Community Relations, to maintain effective relationships with both internal and external constituents.  Our goal is to ensure that the institution can meet its strategic and tactical real estate needs in support of the President's vision of the University to be the hemispheric university; the excellent university; the relevant university; and the exemplary university.

Our services encompass acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and property management.
The University of Miami owns a number of single family homes and townhouses near the Coral Gables campus. Eligible faculty and staff are given priority in renting these homes.

The University of Miami is pleased to accept gifts of real estate and tangible personal property that address a specific need and comply with the mission and policies of the University.
